Food for Thought
This is a speaking engagement I am hosting on Saturday, March 23rd. 11-3 at the Price Ave. Shelter at H. Odell Weeks Center. There will be 5 speakers as well as some music, and it will be a multi-media event. This will be an experience, unlike anything you have previously had. This is a community event on how to effect change in our community by starting with things we can do in our own yards. Responsibility, attitude, and effort. I intend for this event to be in line with the mini-skirt rule. Long enough to cover the subject and short enough to keep things interesting. This will be fun and relaxed and there will be fresh fruit from the local farmers market. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions and I hope to see you there.
I have created a Telegram group for Aiken folk called Awaken Aiken. Anyone can join, but its main purpose is to inform people about subjects like the ones I cover on my radio show. Enjoy this and please contribute to the conversation.
Telegram is a decentralized freedom-of-speech platform (social media) that is far superior to Facebook. It will take a little getting used to, but it is far more efficient, and you will find far less BS (Bad Science, Belief Systems, Bull-Shit). We can communicate through direct messages and even video. We can have group chats with video, and classes of up to 500 can be held.
